Day Twenty-Six: Key

Maybe I Forgot to Mention

Last Monday we started at a new daycare center. We had been on the waiting list at UCP for quite a while at the urging of Ryleigh's PT, Gerti. The center is more accessible and they have a bit more experience caring for kiddos with different needs. I was more stressed about it than I was taking her to daycare in the first place! Of course she did just fine. I thought she'd be scared of confused with the new people. Nope. It will still be a little bit of an adjustment getting used to a new routine, but she's doing just fine.

AND she is officially a roly-poly! Our little monster can roll from her back to her belly. All by herself. Whenever she wants. One proud momma here!

After her first day at her new school.

Oh my goodness! Can you believe how much she's changed?

Day Twenty-Three: Moon

Cubicle Life

I spent much of my Thursday afternoon at work updating my desktop background with a slide show of some of my favorite pics. This makes me so very happy.

So, I thought, I'd go ahead and share a few of the other photos inthe slideshow.

Bug's new sunhat.

A few weeks ago, she was asleep on the couch. She was just too cute and snuggly for daddy to resist.
I love these two so much!!

Lying out in our backyard in the sunshine last week.

Baby owl, a few weeks ago.

Trying out the swing at our neighborhood park - 3.16.12

A couple weeks ago, can't remember exactly when. But I LOVE this pic and her gorgeous blue eyes.

Day Twenty-One: Delicious

Deliciously sweet baby cheeks

Springtime at Mizzou

Mizzou has such a pretty campus, especially in the spring. All the flowering trees around the quad, with the red brick buildings.
A couple photos I took today at lunch time...

Day Twenty: Before & After

Who's that weirdo out on the patio taking photos of an apple core?

Day Nineteen: Funny

Little baby bird, with her mouth wide open waiting for food, is funny. Well, maybe cute...but funny too. :-)

Day Eighteen: Corner of My Home

Cat on the corner of the chair, in the corner of our home.

Day Seventeen: Green

I'm not all that thrilled with my "green" photos. We had a busy day yesterday and I just snapped a couple quick pics.
Looks like some certain new-ish homeowners need to buy a lawnmower soon.

Sweet Sunshine

When we got home today Ryleigh and I took a quilt out to the back yard for some relaxation time.
The weather was ah-mazing.
Our girl is so sweet.
Life is good.

Day Fourteen: Clouds

Day Eleven: Someone You Talked to Today

One of three people I talked to today. Of course, he has a pretty bad case of March Madness and only heard about a tenth of what I said....

Day Ten: Loud

Singing loudly for more cereal
Loud baby yelling at her toys Sunday morning

Day Nine: Red

Red buds and blue skies.
Spring is coming! :-)
Happy Friday!

Day Eight: Window

Christy and I snuck over to Jesse Hall this afternoon hoping to find a good window pic. Our little adventure was a success. And we had fun snapping a few extra shots.
This is my "official" window photo.

Day Seven: Something you Wore

Home from work = comfy pants & bare feet. Ahhhhh.

One Noisy Baby

Ryleigh bug is really starting to love the sound of her own voice. Last night she was just chattering away after a delicious dinner of sweet potatoes.

Love her to bits!

Half Birthday

Little Ryleigh's half birthday was last weekend. It came and went without much fanfare. We'll save the big party for about six more months. I cannot believe our bug is six months old already!

She had her six-month checkup today. 20lbs 2oz and 27 inches, she's a BIG girl!! She got her six-month shots too and did great.

I guess one exciting note is that we've started venturing into solid foods. Fun times! And a totally uncharted territory for mommy. I have pretty much no idea what I'm doing and mostly just wing it. With some help from my trusty Baby Bullet I've been able to make Ryleigh's meals myself. So far carrots are a big hit. Oh, and big kid likes to hold her own bottle most of the time too. Happy Friday!

Trying out some cereal for the first time.
This stuff isn't too bad.
Yummy carrots!
Yeah, I'm a big girl.
