Giggles

The internet has finally been restored at our house and I hope to have a birthday post up on the blog soon. In the mean time, I found this video on the camera. It's from about a month ago. If this doesn't bring a smile to your face, then you're pretty much hopeless. ;-)

On the Move

Our little Ryleigh is getting the hang of this whole crawling thing more and more every day. On Sunday she crawled from the living room to the sun room in search of "di-tee" (we translate that as "kitty").

At the end of the video her foot gets a twisted at an angle that looks bad. Her ankles are very flexible because the muscles and ligaments are pretty loose. We are working on leg awareness, by telling her to pay attention to and "fix" her legs if they get in an awkward position.

Heading to St Louis to check in with Dr Elbabaa and hopefully show off her new tricks.

Five for Friday

Five random thoughts and/or photos from our week.

1. I can't believe in just a few weeks we will be the parents of a ONE YEAR-OLD!!!

2. we found a pretty good way to entertain the wee one while we eat dinner.
clay critters, made in the u.s.a.
3. We finally got our new grill put together and fired it up this week. Yay!

4. our big girl is just about too big for her car seat.
we're planning on shopping for a new one (or two) when we are in STL next week

5. it was a GORGEOUS day today at mizzou!
I think we're gonna get some more use out of that grill tonight.
Have a great weekend everyone!!

So This Happened

Not the best of Mondays for the Rowes. Hopefully today will be better.

baby got scratched by the kitty (way too close to her eye!)
mommy tried (unsuccessfully) to make just one more cup of coffee
daddy dropped (and killed) his iphone
Bring on Tuesday!!

This Kid

I tell you she is AMAZING!! Gerti emailed me this video today from her session at daycare.

I cried. Then I watched it again...and again...and again.
I cannot even say how proud I am of my daughter.

I think we'll be doing some baby proofing this weekend!
